Koru 2 Freedom

If you are considering to camp New Zealand off-grid away from powered campsites, then the Koru 2 Freedom is for you. Whilst only using branded quality components, our goal was to design a vehicle able to bring independence and comfort anywhere in New Zealand.

Our custom built furniture is made entirely by our team and uses a combination of marine and hard wearing wood grain ply. MDF and Particle board are not used nor considered. Our mattress swabs are Dunlop, of medium density and come with a 10 year anti-mould guarantee.

The Ebersbacher D2 diesel heater delivers 2.2KW of heating allowing you to camp in sub-zero temperatures with ease. The hot water is powered by a heat exchanger connected to the engine cooling system. Once your engine has reached temperature, your on-board water will be hot for a period of 24 hours.

A 300 Watt MPPT controlled solar system and 3 X 120 Amp hour batteries provide reliable long-term off-grid power. The 60l 12V Vitrifrigo fridge is big enough to accommodate a range of food stuffs. The Freedom 2 campervan comes with a full bathroom including shower and modern cassette toilet.

The bluetooth stereo and TV combo deliver a crisp picture and sound. Numerous USB and 12V power sockets allow you to charge up to 6 devices near the rear bed/lounge area. The large pull out drawer holds $300 worth of shopping thus maximising the remaining storage left in your campervan.

These vehicles are exceptionally designed and packed with features not seen in any other rental vehicle of this class.

This vehicle is certified self-contained in accordance with the Plumbers, Gas and Drain Fitters (Self-Contained Vehicles) Regulations 2023.
