Based on the VW Crafter 50, this campervan has been designed for freedom camping from the ground up. Competing with the Grand California, this vehicle offers true independence without the need to stay at powered campsites. Tinted windows ensure complete privacy and minimize solar heat inside the vehicle during the day.

Built in our very own factory in Auckland, The Koru Star 4 Freedom features massive battery storage and a 340Watt MPPT controlled solar panel. The onboard bathroom and LPG powered hot water system complete the criteria for self containment in New Zealand.

The super high roof allows for a second rear bed in and 4 seats in the front. This means four people can be seated in the front whilst the rear beds are all made up. This features is usually only seen in 6-Berth motorhomes which rent at significantly higher rates.

You'll find numerous USB sockets strategically placed throughout the campervan for easy charging from any location. The kitchen bench can be extended on both sides, providing extra space for cooking and washing dishes. Plus, the recently released purpose-built Suburban continuous gas hot water system powers the hot water supply efficiently.
